Description
Bring the warmth of old-world millwork into a smaller footprint with this U.S.-designed set of two natural-finish decorative corbels from American Art Decor. The stepped edges, sweeping curved brace and compact proportions give the pair a collected architectural look that feels more like a found vintage detail than an ordinary shelf bracket. Warm natural tones make the design especially inviting in farmhouse, rustic, cottage, French-country and traditional spaces.

Each corbel measures approximately 6.75 inches high x 6.75 inches wide x 1.25 inches deep. Made of high-density engineered wood construction and lists an 11 lbs. capacity per set. The substantial carved profile creates visual depth without taking over the wall, making these supports a strong choice for smaller shelves, reading corners, entryways and styled nooks. Actual safe support depends on wall type, fasteners and installation, so choose mounting hardware appropriate for the surface and intended load.

Use the pair beneath a lightweight shelf to display books, framed photos, small plants, pottery or keepsakes, then let the decorative silhouette do the rest. The compact shape also works beautifully as bookends, doorway accents or candle-holder supports, giving one design several styling possibilities.

The appeal is in the detail: dimensional shaping, warm finish and a balanced two-piece presentation that makes everyday decor feel more considered. Place them in a living room, entryway, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, library or home office for an architectural accent that feels distinctive without feeling overdone. No assembly is required for the corbels themselves.

  • SMALL SCALE, BIG ARCHITECTURAL IMPACT - A compact 6.75-inch profile delivers the carved depth of traditional millwork without overwhelming smaller walls, shelves or reading nooks, making it easy to add character where a larger bracket would feel too heavy.
  • WARM NATURAL FINISH - The wood-inspired surface brings a collected, timeworn feel to farmhouse, rustic, cottage, French-country and traditional interiors while pairing naturally with books, pottery, greenery and warm-toned shelving.
  • 11-LB LISTED CAPACITY PER CORBEL - 11 lbs. capacity for each support, offering practical support for lightweight decorative shelving when installed with wall fasteners selected for the surface and intended application.
  • MORE THAN A SHELF SUPPORT - Style the pair beneath a shelf, use them as decorative bookends, frame a doorway or create candle-holder accents; the sculptural curved profile makes one small architectural detail useful in several rooms.
  • PAIR THEM FOR A FINISHED LOOK - Two matching corbels make balanced styling effortless, helping shelves, mantels and wall vignettes feel intentional in living rooms, entryways, bedrooms, libraries, kitchens and home offices.
